This study discusses the development of hadith index book as a product codification, from method and systematic aspect its preparation. The research is qualitative by using literature method. data reasearch has been collected library documents, primary secondary data. expected to discover book, including methods systematics used scholars in compiling. finds that existence response codification. Its makes easiness for reviewers trace Prophet's referring source. In addition, books have very close significance research, especially context takhrîj al-ḥadîs.
